~BOOKISH THINGS~
I read a total of 9 books this month, so don't worry- I normally don't get anywhere close to 16 in a month. ;) I'm looking forward to reading some more new books in August!
Books read in July: 9
All of these books were good! My favorite was probably either the Janette Oke books or Beauty Begins, although all of them were good! I didn't really have a least-favorite, although Stepping Heavenward was kind of hard to read, although it was a good book.

HOW IS IT ALREADY ALMOST AUGUST?!?!? I refuse to accept this. I'm in total denial.
ReplyDeleteI KNOW, RIGHT?! I think July went by faster than June did! It's crazy how that happens.*sigh* xD
DeleteDay 4!! that's so great! I'm sure you can make it two weeks ;) Did you try that breakfast? lol Sounds like you've had an amazing month!!!
ReplyDeleteYes... I suppose 4 days is something! :) Thank you- I'll have to work up to 2 weeks very soon! How long did you do it when you first tried it? And YES! That breakfast was amazing! My whole family tried it, in fact, and loved it! <3
DeleteThanks for your comment!
It's amazing. It really is!!! Are you taking a day off? I went two weeks on my first time without taking any days off. Though, the very last night I did have a taste of ice cream which gave me a sugar buzz. xD Ohh how cool!!! Have you tried frozen blueberries yet?? :D
DeleteI admire your perseverance- a lot! Yes, I had to take a day (or rather a meal) off, because we were going out and I couldn't help it. But even then, I didn't chow down on the desserts like I wanted to, so I guess that says something! xD It's really not as hard as I imagined now, although I do miss my chocolate. *sniff* Frozen blueberries are awesome! I normally eat them anyway, so I like them even more now. :D
DeleteLooks like it's been a good month! I have come to terms that no sugar in the summer isn't happening for me. and congratulations on growing followers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vanessa! Haha, yes, no sugar is the summer is hard, so I'm sure I can only do it for a week. ;) Thank you, and thanks for commenting!
DeleteWow! How is it almost August?!
ReplyDeleteLovely post, Emily! It looks like you had an awesome July. :)
~Grace <3
I know! July sure flew by, didn't it!
DeleteThank you! I did have a good July, and I hope you did too. ;) Thanks for your comments!
I understand your thoughts on Stepping Heavenward. I found it the same when I read it a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a good month! Looking forward to more of your posts in August. :)
I'm glad someone else feels that way about it! I had heard a ton about it, so I suppose it wasn't what I was expecting it to be, although it certainly was a good book.
DeleteI did have a great month, and hope you did too! Thank you for all of your lovely comments, Jessica! =)
Hi! I'm Micaiah, and I blog over at Ramblings of a Writer. https://godgalthatswhoibe.wordpress.com It looks like you had a wonderful July. =)
ReplyDeleteOh, you read the Tender Years? It's one of my favorite books by Janette Oke.
Hi, Micaiah! *waves* Thanks for stopping by my blog! I did have a wonderful July, and I hope you did as well. :)
DeleteYes, I enjoyed reading "The Tender Years" (but I pretty much like anything by Janette Oke, so...) I'm glad you liked it too!
I will check out your blog soon- it sounds very nice. :) Thanks for dropping by and commenting!
Ah! Yesssss! How is it the 1st of August today??? Like you said every month seems to have flown by. :) It looks like you had a fabulous July though! Don't you just love these kind of posts? *happy sigh*
ReplyDeleteI have no idea! Before you know, you'll be reading the August Highlights post, lol! ;) But I do like these posts, and I'm glad enjoyed reading it!
DeleteThanks for all your comments, Hannah! <3
I had fun reading about some of your highlights from the month, Emily! :)
ReplyDeleteOut of the books you’ve read this month I have only read “The Silent Blade”. Although I do want to read “The Tender Years” and the Love Comes Softly series sometime soon. :)
AWHH, thank you for linking to my post! <3 That means a lot.
ReplyDeleteGAH. SCHOOL. *dies* I'm not looking forward to it at all. The summer has gone by sooo fast, and I feel like I haven't been able to really take it in. *le sigh* *sobs because school* Hopefully we'll all be able to get through it.
